House of Soke Instructors
Every Ken Zen Ichii instructor listed has ongoing personal training under the direction of Soke Dwight Childress. Soke's instruction goes beyond physical training and includes subjects such as martial arts culture and tradtion, business aspects, and people skills with an emphasis on child instruction.Each instructor has the capacity to facilitate the many different disciplines of the Ken Zen Ichii System.

Hanshi Brown has studied Ken Zen Ichii for more than 10 years.

Certified peronal trainer. Over 9 years of pee-wee, junior, and adult development.
Sensei John Casisa - 5th Degree
Namaste Tai Chi Master Instructor

Sensei Casisa has been active in the martial arts for over 15 years.
Specialty:
Self-defense, motions and concepts, and Tai Chi.
Sensei Trenton Bullock - 4th Degree
Background:Over 10 years martial arts experience in KZI karate and wrestling.
Specialty:Striking, grappling and weapons.
Sensei Clive Wilson - 3rd Degree
Background:Over 10 years of martial arts training. Including Judo, Jujitsu and KZI.
Specialty:Grappling, falls/rolls, transitions.
Sensei Chris Kelly - 5th Degree
Background:
Sensei Kelly has over 10 of experience in KZI karate system.
Specialty:
Sensei Kelly specializes in boxing skills, striking, grappling and submissions.
He represented the House of Soke in the 2011 submission grappling tournament held in Raleigh, North Carolina and was the 2011 middle-weight champion at the MMA/Kickboxing Tournament Held in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Sensei Steven Kalinoski - 3rd Degree
Background:
Sensei Kalinoski has over 17 years of martial arts experience, 14 of which have been as a member of the House of Soke Martial Arts Center.
Specialty:
Sensei Kalinoski specializes in pre-teen and teen martial arts instruction.
Sensei Joey Brown - 2nd Degree
Background:
A member of the House of Soke Martial Arts Center since 2007.
Over 15 years of boxing and martial art experience.
Specialty:
Sensei Brown offers instruction in the pre-teen karate program, self-defense classes and personal fitness sessions.
Sensei Brown specializes in striking techniques and self-defense. He has represented the House of Soke in kickboxing tournaments.
Sensei Eric Calvert - 1st Degree
Background:
Sensei Calvert has been a member of the House of Soke since April, 2008. He earned his Black Belt in October 2010.
He has prior experience in Tae Kwon Do and Judo.
Specialty:
Sensei Calvert specializes in pre-teen martial arts instruction and grappling. He is a member of the BSR competition team which has represented the House of Soke in tournments in North and South Carolina.

BSR/KZI Brown Belt. ,Certified Modern Army Combatives Program Instructor - Level 1.
Co-founder House of Soke BSR/KZI Women's Self Defense Program.

Background:Over nine years of martial arts training with emphasis on personal/self defense
utilizing striking and shocking techniques. Trained in knife and gun defenses. Represented the House of Soke in the 2011 Grappling Tournament in Raleigh, NC.
