I used to come there when I was younger with my dad and now that I'm getting out of the army, I'm looking to start back up again. What are the prices for me as well as my little brother

I had a great time at the self defense class and learned so much. I found it really helpful to be able to practice what we were taught. Learning by doing was so effective and helped me to realize some things were easier than they seemed and others, much harder. I would rather learn that in this setting than when I really need it. I would highly recommend this to my friends and family.

The self defense class taught by Mrs. Kelly on February 8, 2012 was awesome.I learned so much about how not to become a victim. Learning how to pay attention to my surroundings was a key learning point because all too often I am guilty of walking and texting or talking on the phone. This will make anyone an unsuspecting target to an attacker. The most important thing I learned was that it takes less than 2 pounds of pressure to break a nose! I will suggest this class to all my family and friends because it gives you insight into how to prevent yourself from becoming a victim and how to defend yourself from an attacker. I look forward to the 10 week class...

Hose of Soke is THE place to train for the real world! We train in and are proficient in many different styles and utilize many ares like boxing, ground fighting, knees and elbows. Many martial arts dojo's cater to the fads in the martial arts, like the current trend with the MMA. The only problem with this is in a street fight your oponent is not going to limit themselves to the rules, and if you are rolling on the ground with an opponent and his friend decides to jump in what then? We train for multiple opponents and are comfortable with anything thrown at us, the difference is we train to quickly incapacitate and be ready for another one. You can't showcase that in ufc. If you want to train for a competition that's fine and we can help you. However, wouldn't you rather be a warrior? If someone attacks your family wouldn't you like to be able to take out four or five guys? Or do you want to roll around with one guy while the others are kicking you in the back of the head?
